Prepainted Galvanized Steel
Prepainted steel is steel products that take cold rolled steel or galvanized steel as steel substrate, go through the surface pretreatment (degreasing, cleaning, chemical conversion treatment), then was continuously coated with paint (roller coating method), finally go throught the process of baking and cooling.

Selection of Prepainted Steel
Type and coating weight of steel substrate:
The type and coating weight of steel substrate are the most important factors that influence the corrosion resistance of prepainted steel coil.
The selection should determined in accordance with the usage, envrionmental corrosion, service life and durability. For example, in the severe industrial or humid coastal area, the zinc coating of prepainted steel should be more than 180g/m2.
However, when used for decoration or household appliances, the prepainted steel with normal zinc coated steel substrate can be adopted.
Types of painting:
Painting is the key factor that influences the usage of colour-coated/prepainted steel.
For example, in the humid coastal area, the higher durability painting was suggested such as PVDF, HDP.
